I have been kind of neglecting my website for some time now but I hope to get back on track with my upcoming annual best of articles where I look and computer games, tv, movies and anything else that I can put in a list. The Movie list might be a ways off yet because I have so many films to catch up on before I can even begin to put up that list together. TV and computer games will come very soon, there is only one computer game that I have yet to play that might make the list.
Since my last post almost 3 months ago a lot has happened, well at least a lot has happened in the last month. For starters I have been laid off from my job and now am looking for I new job as I wait for my first EI check. I was laid off due to lack of work because I company I worked for is no longer operating. Now you would thing with today’s job market I would have found a job in 5 seconds but I have been a little distracted. For starters I have been sick, first a nasty cold then a stomach flue. In between getting sick I went on a trip down to Cabo San Lucas with 19 of my closets family members for a week. There was one other distraction which involved a trip to Calgary but I will not get in to that here. Now I am back and feeling 100% and beginning my job hunt. If you have any leads drop me a line (I will not work retail or in a kitchen).
In Project Refusal news the game is going great, I had lots of time over the holidays to code. I have finished implementing the client/server code, meaning my game can be played over a network or the internet. I have begun doing research on a new collision system and will start coding it soon. One of my resolutions is to get more of the game done this year with the hopes of using it as a demo to get a job in the industry, but with only 33000 lines of code done I have a long ways to go.
