I have finished Stage 1 (of 3) of the Project Refusal Level Editor. To download it and get instructions click on the P.R. link above. Next I will be working on stage 2 of the level editor and after that I start work on the actual game. This should not be to hard because the level editor and the game will use the same graphics engine. But to make it even easier I will be purchasing some more programming books.

“My Apartment Smells of Rich Mahogany” – Ron Burgundy, Anchor Man
The Level Editor is having the last of its bugs worked out of it and will be released very soon. But in other news I have just finished another project I have been working on for the last 7 months. I built my self a desk. Why you might ask? Simple, all the desks I have seen in stores suck. What’s with those stupid sliding keyboard drawers anyway? So today I spent taking apart my old desk and replacing it with the new one and I also took some pictures so I can show it of to all of you!
Before: Â After:
Some of the features include: cable management, sliding shelve for computer, mahogany finish, 8 3″ fans for heat dispersion and that’s right power outlets on the top of the desk!!
Now here are some more pics for your enjoyment.
Delays + Alias S4 Sucks!
You know how I said at the beginning of the month I was near done the first beta release of the Project Refusal Level Editor, well there have been complications. I decided there was a few changes in the needed in the graphics engine, not a lot at all. At least at first, what I thought was going to take a couple of days turned in to over a month of work. Not to say it was not worth it because it was in a huge way. The graphics engine is now simpler and way more powerful and scalable. So that first beta build should be nearly done in a week all that is left is to finish the loading and saving functions and add a options menu.
In other news, Alias this season sucks, it looks as if Disney has fucked up something else. I know J. J. Abrams would never have screwed up the show like this of his own free will. The bad part is that everyone is under contract and can not jump ship. Jennifer Garner has another 3 years left in her contract so she is stuck there until the show finally fails due to bad ratings. This will be like how she was forced to do Elektra because of a clause in her daredevil contract saying she was required to do any spin offs or sequels. I would love to see her in a 100% dramatic role instead of being type cast in to doing crap. I think Jennifer would make the perfect Dagny Taggart if they ever doing any thing with Atlas Shrugged. And if you are wondering why I think this season sucks let me explain. There are 2 reasons: one, they are completely ignoring every thing that happened in the first 3 seasons and two, the situations are driving the character development instead of the characters driving the situations.
